Graduate School Pathways
The School of Health Sciences and the Department of Public Health Sciences and Administration are committed to supporting students beyond their undergraduate education by developing graduate school pathways that recognize academic excellence and reduce financial and logistical barriers. Through strategic partnerships with leading institutions, these pathways are designed to help high-achieving students in the Carolinas seamlessly transition into advanced degrees in public health, health administration, and related fields—with greater flexibility, support, and opportunity.
Pathways and Support
Current Graduate Pathways
The School of Health Sciences and the Department of Public Health Sciences and Administration offer two 3+2 accelerated graduate pathways in partnership with the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). These programs allow qualified students to complete both their undergraduate and graduate degrees in just five years:
B.S. in Public Health to – Ideal for students pursuing careers in epidemiology, health promotion, policy, or global health.
- B.S. in Health Services Administration and Management (HSAM) to – Designed for students aiming to lead and manage healthcare organizations with a focus on efficiency, strategy, and quality improvement.
These pathways are built to support high-achieving students by streamlining the application process, reducing time to degree completion, and helping to lower overall education costs.
Future Graduate Pathways
We are actively working to expand our graduate school partnerships to include additional priority admission and tuition-reduction opportunities. These future pathways will continue to align with student career goals while increasing access and affordability across public health, healthcare administration, and related fields.
