Supervisor Certificate Series
Supervisors play a critical role in advancing the College’s strategic mission while fostering their team’s development and well-being. To excel in their roles, supervisors must understand and be able to apply important College policies as well be proficient in effective communication, team building, coaching, conflict resolution, and more. As part of our ongoing commitment to employee experience and success along with professional development, the College provides a comprehensive Supervisor Series Certificate program. This program combines essential and advanced supervisory skills, providing education and leadership developmental opportunities to empower supervisors in their daily work. All supervisors and especially new supervisors are strongly encouraged to complete this program.
The Supervisor Certificate Series is open to all supervisors of staff in a supervisory position at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. It consists of ten (10) courses with multiple options for participation and completion. A certificate is awarded upon successful completion of all 10 courses. The Supervisor Certificate Series is only open to supervisors of staff. Non-supervisors are not permitted in this program. Courses should be completed within 18 months of hire into a supervisory position.
