B.A. to M.A.T. Accelerated Program
Earn two degrees leading to K12 Theatre teaching certification
Earn both your Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) with a concentration in Theatre at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, preparing you to become a certified K-12 Theatre teacher.
This accelerated program allows you to take up to 12 graduate credit hours during your undergraduate studies, which count toward both degrees, making it a streamlined and cost-effective pathway to your teaching career.
Our program enhances your employment prospects and increases earning potential through an MAT.
To apply, submit a letter of intent outlining your goals and areas of interest, and complete an interview with the MAT Program Director. Applications should be made by the end of your junior year, and admission requires a minimum GPA of 3.2 and completion of at least 90 undergraduate credits.
