The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Area Branch of ASALH and CSSC is hosting a Black History Month Kick Off Event on Sat., Feb. 1, 2025. This year’s theme, African Americans and Labor, focuses on ways labor has shaped the experience of African Americans throughout history.
Carter G. Woodson, Black History Month
Carter G. Woodson founded the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History promoting Black historical achievements. He later launched the Journal of Negro History and Negro History Week, now known as Black History Month.
Legacy Talks - Civil Rights Program
