Departmental Scholarships

Departmental scholarships are made possible through generous individual donors, corporations and non-profit organizations.

To qualify for departmental scholarships, current undergraduate students must be a declared major in the department awarding funds. Incoming students must list their intent to major in the department when registering.

Students listed as "undeclared" are not eligible for departmental scholarships.

Quattrochi Scholarship


Open to all STEM majors, the Quattrochi Merit Scholarship was created by Peter Lawrence Quattrochi and Jane Elizabeth Quattrochi ’93, for students at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit and an original essay.

Criteria:

  • Student must be full-time at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and must participate in a minimum of two ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø organizations
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
  • Rising junior or senior majoring in Sciences, Mathematics and Engineering

Crossing the Cistern (CTC)


Crossing the Cistern (CTC) provides support and resources for you to improve your academic standing. The program helps you reengage in your studies and carry that momentum through to graduation and crossing the cistern - the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø's traditional symbol of achieving your degree.

The program focuses on the retention and well-being of all students, with an emphasis on supporting all CofC enrolled students.

Program Eligibility

  • Declared major in the School of Engineering, Computing, and Mathematics
  • Minimum of 30 credit hours
  • GPA: 2.0 – 2.9
  • One year commitment to the program
