STEM 360

Are you a high school student interested in STEM? The STEM 360 program is for you!
  • Program Overview
    During the five-day event, you will be taught by our ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø faculty in our state-of-the-art facilities. You’ll have the opportunity to sample a range of STEM disciplines, including:

    • biology,
    • marine biology,
    • chemistry,
    • environmental geosciences,
    • engineering,
    • computer programming and
    • more!  

    You’ll also see what it’s like to study these majors in college. Activities may also include tours of companies or field work at the Stono Preserve and Grice Marine Lab. 

  • Important Information and Dates

    Registration for STEM 360 (2024) is now open. The registration fee is $300. All rising 10, 11, and 12 graders are welcome to register for the program. Applicants will be reviewed until the program reaches capacity (15). Please complete the online registration by May 31, 2024.

    • Sessions are held Monday, July 15 – Friday, July 19, 2024, 9am-4pm daily.
    • Registration fee: $300
    • Application and Payment Deadline: June 15, 2024

    Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until a course reaches capacity (15). We will follow up and notify all applicants of their enrollment status within one week of receiving the online registration. Once your application has been processed, we will email you a complete timeline, program details, a checklist, and the remaining paperwork.

    Applications may still be accepted after the June 15 deadline, if space remains available in the program. Contact ballardi@cofc.edu to determine availability.

  • Refund Policy

    Students who pay the full amount and decide to withdraw before June 25 are eligible to recoup the remaining balance from their payment.
