  • Performance Opportunities

    • Piccolo Spoleto Festival: Perform in the Piccolo Spoleto Festival and other career-launching performance opportunities in the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø community.

    • Orchestra: Take part in the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø orchestra under the direction of faculty member and ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Symphony Orchestra concertmaster Yuriy Bekker.

    • Chamber Groups: Perform in chamber groups under the direction of internationally renowned pianist Volodymyr Vynnysky.

    • Epicenter of arts and culture: The City of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø hosts many festivals through out the year including the internationally acclaimed Spoleto Festival. The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Symphony regularly invites world-class artists as soloists.

  • Courses Offered

    The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø offers a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music specializing in performance.

    Students taking performance classes receive instruction tailored to their individual needs based on their aims and performance level.

    Courses of study are available for both majors and non-majors, with a focus in Cello performance available to music majors or double majors.

    Natalia KhomaThe cello studio is led by Associate Professor , an internationally renowned cellist.

    Khoma has won top prizes at the Tchaikovsky International Competition in Moscow, Budapest Pablo Casals International Competition, Markneukirchen Competition in Germany, as well as First prize at the Belgrade International Cello Competition


    Prof. Khoma has been instrumental in developing and organizing ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Music Fest, a year-round series of chamber music performances adding to the colorful cultural life of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.

    Each year the festival draws to ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø world-renowned musicians, international stars, and distinguished professors.

    ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø students benefit from Music Fest and top international talent, and gain additional opportunities to study with our visiting guests during free master classes.
