Program at a Glance
Your EDBA experience extends beyond the classroom and begins before you arrive on campus through in-person and online academic preparation and career programming. We've designed the curriculum to develop your business knowledge and skills to improve your teamwork and peer leadership skills and provide you with specialized knowledge that aligns with your career goals.

Format
The EDBA program will be delivered in a hybrid form, but in-person classes will only be held one weekend per term. The remote portion of the courses will be done with either synchronous or asynchronous classes. Each professor will be given the flexibility to determine how the remote sessions will be taught based on the course material. Plan for weekly synchroneous meetings during the evenings.

Residency Weekends
There will be a combined spring residency (each cohort will be together). In addition, we will look to take advantage of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø business community when the students are on campus with such activities as a CEO Roundtable.

Credits
Thirty-nine (55) credits are required for graduation. Each cohort will take roughly 6.0 credits classes each term (fall, spring and summer).

Transfer Policy
The Executive Doctorate of Business Administration program does not accept graduate transfer credit from other institutions.

EDBA Course Distribution
Courses within the program cover one of three subjects: Theory Focused Learning, Research Methods Learning, & Applied research. Theory focused learning teaches candidates the science behind the degree. While Research methods will teach candidate to apply this knowledge into their research. Applied research is the opportunity for candidates to apply what they have learned into their own research and dissertations.
