Healing Arts
Meaning in the Journey
Healing Arts is an initiative by the Counseling Center to promote student wellness and well-being through the use of art and creativity. Designed to foster healing, connection, and personal growth, the centerpiece of the program is a gallery exhibition showcasing student and community artwork.
Our upcoming gallery exhibition, titled 'Meaning in the Journey,' will feature powerful works from students and staff exploring themes of healing, identity, and resilience. It's a space to witness, reflect, and feel seen—whether you're an artist, a viewer, or somewhere in between.
Life is full of transitions, challenges, detours, and unexpected turns—and each of us is on a journey shaped by our experiences. This year’s Healing Arts Gallery invites students, faculty, and staff to reflect on the paths they’ve traveled and what they’ve discovered along the way.
Whether your journey has been emotional, academic, personal, cultural, spiritual—or all of the above—we want to know:
Where have you been, and what has it meant to you?
No art background necessary—just honest expression.
Deadline for submissions: December 1, 2025
Artwork can be dropped off at Robert Scott Small, Office 300 (Counseling Center)
