  • International African American Museum

    Located at the historically sacred site of Gadsden’s Wharf, the International African American Museum (IAAM) explores the history, culture, and impact of the African American journey on ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, on the nation, and on the world.

  • ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø's Museum Mile

    Museums, iconic architecture, historic places of worship and colonial homes and public buildings await you along a one-mile section of nearby Meeting Street.

  • Cougars, RiverDogs, Stingrays & Battery

    You're a sports fan, and you're in the right place.

    In addition to our NCAA Division I Cougar athletic teams, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø serves as the home field, ice, and pitch for the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø RiverDogs minor league baseball team (Florida Rays), South Carolina Stingrays (ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals) and ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Battery of the USL Championship.

    If you have the need to run, climb, cling, paddle or (disc) putt, James Island County Park has the programs and facilities for fun and fitness during your ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø stay.

  • The J. Stewart Walker Sailing Complex

    Home of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø's sailing team, the J. Stewart Walker Sailing Complex offers youth, adult and private sailing lessons. Members receive all-access to the College's fleet of FJs, z420s, Lasers and J-22s.

    The Complex is located just across from the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Peninsula at the Patriots Point Marina in nearby Mt. Pleasant.
