Guidance and Support to Prepare You for Law School
Like most colleges and universities, the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø does not offer an actual "pre-law" major.
Instead, we encourage you to major in an academic subject that meets your interests and career goals. You should choose a major that provides the academic rigor to gain admission to law school, and one that connects to your legal career aspirations.
We supplement what you learn in your major with guidance and support on preparing for, and applying to law school.
Remember: You can major in any subject and still enter law school.

Receive one-on-one guidance and consultation from our expert staff, including the program director and assistant director.

Events
The Pre-Law Advising Program hosts numerous events throughout the year designed to help you in your application process and provide you access to speakers and law-related content you might not otherwise receive.
Past events have included experts and presentations on the following topics:
- Nationally-known expert on voting rights and the Constitution
- Panel of admissions officers from 6 regional and national law schools
- Presentations from the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) on how to apply and pay for law school

LSAT Prep Course
The Pre-Law Advising Program offers students, alumni and community members an LSAT Prep Course.
Offered in late spring and early fall, and at a cost of approximately 1/2 of the major commercial prep company courses, this course is designed to prepare you as musch as possible for the LSAT.
The program also provides the books for the class at no cost.

Pre-Law Library
Pre-Law Advising also grants you access to our Pre-Law Library located in the J.C. Long Building.
The library holds a small collection of books about applying to law school, performing well in law school and preparing for the LSAT. Books can be borrowed for up to one month.

ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Pre-Law SocietyThe Pre-Law Society is an organization of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø undergraduates interested in pursuing, exploring, and discussing legal education, careers and issues. The Society is committed to assisting students interested in attending law school post-undergrad.
