
Godfreyb Ssekajja
Visiting Assistant Professor
Godfreyb Ssekajja is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, where he teaches courses including Environmental Policy, Public Administration, Public Policy, American Politics, and Institutions & Governance. He has previously held academic positions at several institutions including the University of Chicago, Wellesley College, College of the Holy Cross, and Franklin College.
He earned his Ph.D. in Public Policy from Indiana University Bloomington and a Master's degree in International Development from the University of Pittsburgh. Largely drawing on a mixed-methods approach and extensive training at Indiana University’s Ostrom Workshop, his research emphasizes how governance structures evolve and perform in diverse ecological and political settings.
Professor Ssekajja’s scholarship has appeared in journals such as Journal of Environmental Management, Global Environmental Change, World Development, The Journal of Development Studies, Ethnicities, and The International Journal of the Commons. He has been recognized with several honors, including the Ostrom Workshop Award and the Tobias Center Award.
