The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) Online Education and e-Learning program provides a one-stop shop for tutorials, faculty development, consultation and support for faculty on how to effectively integrate technologies and electronic media into online, hybrid and classroom-based courses.
Mission
The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø provides exceptional, high-quality and flexible online education for our students across the globe. Online education supports the College’s strategic plan to develop “ethically centered, intellectually versatile and globally fluent citizens who create innovative solutions to social, economic and environmental challenges.”
Vision
The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø views quality online education as an ever-evolving process supported by sustained faculty and student development, regular adoption of new technologies and sound pedagogical approaches, consistent integration into academic programming and institutional commitment. Although the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø is not primarily an online education institution, online education complements the institution’s strategic plan to “be a transformative national university redefining liberal arts education through innovation.”
