Each facility managed by the Office of Student Involvement offers unique features. Some facilities also include certain restrictions.

Facility Features and Restrictions
Student Organization Tables
- Student organizations may reserve one four-foot rectangular table per event from the Office of Student Involvement. Student Involvement does not reserve tables for faculty, staff and departments.
- Tables must be requested at the time the reservation is submitted to the Office of Student Involvement through CougarConnect.
- The reserving organization is responsible for returning the table to the Stern Student Center, 4th floor, at the conclusion of their event. Failure to return tables may result in loss of tabling privileges and the organization charged for table replacement.
Decorations and Items Used While Tabling- Only free-standing decorations or table decorations are allowed in this facility.
- Hanging or taping materials to walls, lamp posts, benches, art installations, trees, bushes, railings, trash cans, doors and windows is prohibited.
- No changes or modifications may be made to any room and/or space.
- Glitter, candles and open flames are strictly prohibited.
- Reserving organizations will be responsible for any damages and may risk temporarily losing their reservation privileges.

Rivers Green
Rivers Green will be available after 5pm for small meetings or events. Tabling will be permitted reservations through the Office of Student Life on a limited basis

- Student organizations may reserve one four-foot rectangular table per event from the Office of Involvement. Student Life does not reserve tables for faculty, staff and departments.
- Tables must be requested at the time the reservation is submitted to the Office of Student Involvement through CougarConnect.
- The reserving organization is responsible for returning the table to the Stern Student Center, 4th floor, at the conclusion of their event. Failure to return tables may result in loss of tabling privileges and the organization charged for table replacement.
- Student organization fundraisers or events that involve food will need to use PREPACKAGED FOOD ONLY. Food that is homemade or distributed from common containers is not permitted.
Event Restrictions
- Available only for events sponsored by ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø student organizations, faculty and staff.
- No events will be scheduled during the Dark Period leading up to exams.
- All entrances to Addlestone Library and Starbucks must remain accessible. Tabling is only permitted on the bricks around the green and on the green space.
- No amplified sound is allowed.
- No additional lighting/sound equipment is allowed.
- All events must be finalized with the Office of Student Involvement 10 business days prior to the event and must comply with city noise ordinances.
- Clean-up is the responsibility of the sponsoring organization.
Rain Location
- A rain location must be identified and reported to the Office of Student Involvement. Organizations may proceed without a rain location after confirming with the Office of Student Involvement. The Addlestone Library is not available as a rain location for Rivers Green events.
Setup Information
The Office of Student Involvement does not provide any setup assistance for Rivers Green.
Once you have a confirmed reservation:- To request tables, chairs, trash cans or additional bins for recycling, contact Facilities Management.
- To request audio/visual equipment, contact AVES at aves@cofc.edu

Stern Student Center
CURRENTLY UNDER RENOVATION
Stern Center Renovation -
RITA 101 Auditorium (special events only)
The capacity for RITA 101 is 206. Furniture may not be moved in this space and must remain in classroom rows. Any request for additional setup must be made at least three (3) weeks prior to event and will result in a reset fee being assessed by the department or organization. Equipment and furniture may not be removed from these space. No exceptions.
Room Features- Five large screens and LED Projectors
- Lectern on-stage: built-in computer and microphone with controls for all technology
- Laptop connection on lectern
- Large stage (stage cannot be removed)
- Wall-to-wall whiteboard behind stage
- Built-in sound system
- DVD and Blu-Ray capability
ADA accessible entrance is from the promenade entrance.

RITA 102 & 103 (special events only)
The capacity for RITA 102 is 55 and RITA 103 is 55. Furniture may not be moved in these spaces and must remain in classroom rows. Any request for additional setup must be made at least three (3) weeks prior to event and will result in a reset fee being assessed by the department or organization. Equipment and furniture may not be removed from these spaces. No exceptions.
