The Office of New Student Programs (NSP) plays a pivotal role in fostering student success by guiding new students and their families through a seamless and supportive transition to the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. As part of the Division of Enrollment Planning, NSP is dedicated to creating welcoming, informative, and engaging experiences that lay the foundation for academic and personal achievement.

Through a comprehensive suite of programs and services, NSP ensures that every student begins their CofC journey with confidence and a sense of connection. Programs and services include:

  • iºÚÁϳԹÏÍø – A unique first-semester admission program that begins with a fall semester abroad. 
  • iºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Site Directors – On-site leadership and support for students participating in the iºÚÁϳԹÏÍø program.
  • Orientation – New Student Orientation, Family Orientation, and Late Registration are designed to introduce students and their families to essential resources and support services. 
  • Orientation Intern Team – A dynamic group of student leaders who serve as ambassadors for incoming students.
  • The CofC Parent & Family Experience – A dedicated platform for engaging families as partners in student success.
