  • Internships

Students may want to consider programs that offer an internship (for credit or not for credit), service learning or volunteer activities that provide pathways to more deeply engage with the local community.  Internships, in particular, are a great opportunity for students to gain transferrable as well as industry-specific skills that can enhance their employability post graduation.  All three type of activities can provide students with greater cultural learning opportunities which can lead to a more meaningful and impactful experience abroad.
