The ARCH Scholars Program
A distinguished community for high performing scholars.
Looking to set yourself up for success at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø? The ARCH Scholars Program offers select students a personalized, two-year cohort experience within the Honors College.

Enter college as an ARCH Scholar
Formidable opportunities. Advanced academics. A flexible program with enterprising peers. It’s all possible when you enter college as an ARCH scholar.
A Community of Achievers
ARCH stands for Achievement Realized through Community in Honors. In the Honors College, we have two separate programs; the Honors Scholars Program and the ARCH Scholars Program. As an ARCH scholar, you'll be part of a special cohort within the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Honors College made up of highly capable incoming students. It is separate from the Honors Scholars Program, which runs all four years. A student cannot be in both programs at the same time. ARCH Scholars are welcome to apply to join the Honors Scholars after their first year.
The ARCH program offers enhanced benefits during your first two years at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, including...
- Live & receive priority housing selection in the freshman Honors College Living-Learning Community (optional).
- ARCH-versions of popular courses, including a personalized First Year Experience class (up to 3 ARCH courses).
- Exclusive ARCH Abroad opportunities to study abroad in places like London.
- Honors College perks like priority registration (register with Juniors, starting 2nd semester).
- Activities and events with other ARCH scholars and Honors students.

Yes! The Honors College consists of two distinctive experiences: ARCH Scholars and Honors Scholars. Each approach is set up to help different types of students get the most out of their time in college.
As an ARCH scholar you’ll still be an active member of the Honors College community throughout your two years in the program. You’ll be able to participate in Honors College programming, and will interact regularly with other highly motivated Honors students. After the first two years, ARCH students are no longer part of the Honors College. -
