Brandon Stone

Brandon M. Stone, born and raised in ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, earned his undergraduate degree in History from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. Inside Brandon's undergraduate experience, he successfully led the Prince Fellowship Research Program in local history, served as the president of Phi Alpha Theta (National History Honor Society), worked within CCU's Department of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations, and marched in the Drumline.
In the spring of 2019, Brandon returned home to earn his graduate degree in History with a concentration in Public History at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. While in the program, he served as the program's two-year treasurer of the Graduate Historical Society and currenlty serves as the Manager for Community Engagement for the Middleton Place Foundation.
His research specialty and scholarship involve the history of enslavement, public memory, and historical interpretation in ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and throughout the Lowcountry. In any spare time that Brandon has, you can find him fishing for Red Drum along the Ashley or the Cooper or playing the drums at the Cathedral of St. Luke & St. Paul.
