Research Interests
Michael J. Lee teaches and writes in the areas of political communication and rhetoric. His research focuses on political branding, political identity, strategic communication, and audience positioning in American politics. His work has earned over a dozen awards including five national book awards for his first book, . His latest book is . He is regularly invited to speak about his research at universities around the country.
Courses Taught
In the classroom, Mike has been teaching courses on eloquence, persuasion, politics, and media since 2002 including public speaking, argumentation, persuasive messaging, political campaigns, media and politics, citizenship, and many others. He also has extensive experience teaching online and directs the fully online at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.
